PSL 10 Islamabad United Retained Players Lists Announced 2025
Islamabad United has announced its retained players for PSL 10 today, January 4th. Below is the full list of players who will stay with the team this season.
The most successful team in PSL is Islamabad United. They are a strong team that has already proved itself. No other team has won the trophy three times like they have!
Note: The PSL 2025 Draft will be announced on the 11th of January.
Now, the big question is: Which players will United keep for PSL 10? Retaining means the team chooses certain players to stay before the draft. This way, those players don’t go back into the draft for other teams to pick. Today, I’ll tell you which eight players they are most likely to keep.

Shadab Khan
Islamabad United will keep Shadab Khan as their captain. He has led the team to many wins, making him their first choice for retention.
Naseem Shah
Islamabad United will keep Naseem Shah because he is an amazing bowler. He played really well in the last final and even smashed a six in the last moments. His performance almost led the team to victory.
Imad Wasim
At number three is all-rounder Imad Wasim. Islamabad United will keep him because he took the most wickets for them last season. He also played a big part in helping the team win both the qualifier and the final match.
Azam Khan
Islamabad United will keep Azam Khan because he is a key player for the team. Even though he hasn’t done very well in international matches, he is still very important for IU.
Alex Hales
Alex Hales is a great batter, and he really enjoys playing in the PSL. This season, he’s back with Islamabad United!
Colin Munro
Colin Munro will likely stay on the team. But there’s a chance Martin Guptill could take his spot since Guptill filled in for Hales last season.
Salman Ali Agha
Salman Ali Agha will stay on the team. Last time, they picked Roman Raees, but this time, I’m sure they’ll choose Salman Ali Agha instead.
