PSL 10 Karachi Kings Retained Players List Announced
On January 4th, just six days before the PSL Draft, Karachi Kings revealed the list of players they are keeping for Pakistan Super League Season 10. Let’s check out which key players will stay with the team this season.
If you don’t know what retention means, let me explain. It’s when a team keeps its best players instead of letting other teams take them.

Last season, Karachi Kings had ups and downs. They won against some strong teams but didn’t reach their main goal. This season, they plan to keep some top players and choose wisely in the draft.

The first player on the list is their captain, Shan Masood. Karachi Kings will keep him in the Platinum category and trust him to lead the team again.
Karachi Kings will keep Hasan Ali as their second player. He was traded from Islamabad United, and now Karachi Kings are bringing him back to make their bowling attack stronger.
Next up is James Vince, a powerful English batsman who will stay with Karachi Kings. He will continue as the team’s vice-captain and play as an opening batsman.
The fourth player will probably be either Shoaib Malik or Mohammad Nawaz. Shoaib Malik is still playing, but I don’t think Karachi Kings will pick him this time. Instead, they might keep Mohammad Nawaz because he is a strong all-rounder.
The fifth player is Tabraiz Shamsi because Karachi Kings need a strong spinner. He will play an important role in their bowling attack.
At number six, we have Mir Hamza, a talented left-arm fast bowler. He has been performing really well, and the Karachi Kings will likely want to keep him on their team.
At number seven, we have Arafat Minhas. He is an all-rounder and an important player for Karachi Kings. The team will probably keep him for PSL 10.
The eighth player on the team will be Irfan Khan Niazi. He had an amazing season last year. Right now, he is playing with the Pakistan Shaheens. He has already played 25 T20 matches. Because of his great performance, Karachi Kings will keep him on the team.
