PSL 10 Quetta Gladiators Retained Players List Announced 2025
Quetta Gladiators have picked eight players to keep for PSL 10. The retention event happened on January 4, where all PSL teams shared their list of retained players before the 2025 draft.
The team has gone through big changes this season. This happened mostly because the IPL and PSL schedules clashed. Many of Quetta’s foreign players might choose to play in the IPL instead of the PSL, leading to these changes.

Quetta Gladiators Retained Players List 2025
Quetta Gladiators have kept eight players for PSL 10. Here is the full list of the retained players.
Category | Players |
---|---|
Platinum | Mohammad Amir, Abrar Ahmad, Rilee Rossouw |
Diamond | Saud Shakeel, Mohammad Wasim Jr, Akeal Hosein |
Gold | Khawaja Nafay, Usman Tariq |
Silver | – |
Emerging | – |
Quetta Gladiators will likely keep Rilee Rossouw on their team. He was the captain in PSL 9, so there’s a good chance they will retain him. But there’s a problem—Rossouw often plays in the IPL in India. This could make it hard for him to be available for the PSL.
Quetta is expected to keep Mohammad Amir on their team. They will likely choose him again from the Platinum category, and he will almost certainly play for them in PSL 10. Amir has been a key player, and Quetta won’t want to lose him.
The third player on the retention list is Jason Roy. He is one of my favorite cricketers, and he will likely return to Quetta Gladiators for PSL 10. Since Jason Roy doesn’t play in the IPL, fans expect him to come to Pakistan and join Quetta Gladiators. Are you a fan of Jason Roy? Tell me in the comments!
Mohammad Wasim Jr. is the fourth player likely to stay with Quetta Gladiators. The young fast bowler will play for them again next season. Quetta worked hard to bring him in through trades, so they will probably keep him on the team.
The fifth player on the retention list is Sarfaraz Ahmed. He is the team captain and a favorite among fans. Once again, he will lead Quetta in PSL 10. If Quetta wins the title, it will be under his leadership.
Quetta will likely keep Mohammad Hasnain on their team. He has been an important player for them, and they won’t want to lose him.
Abrar Ahmed, the mystery spinner, is the seventh player on the list. He was traded from Lahore Qalandars to Quetta Gladiators, who gave up two players to get him. Quetta Gladiators will likely keep him on their team.
The last player likely to stay with the team is Saud Shakeel. He has played well consistently and could even become the new captain of Quetta Gladiators in PSL 10, replacing Rilee Rossouw. Many rumors suggest that he might lead the team next season.
