Melbourne Renegades vs Brisbane Heat 38th Match Scorecard | BBL 14
Full Scorecard: Melbourne Renegades 199 for 7 (Fraser-McGurk 95, Walter 2-23) beat Brisbane Heat 196 for 4 (Wood 45, Zampa 2-29)
Melbourne Renegades win by three wickets and, for now, are fourth in the table. Defending champions Brisbane Heat are out. That was a brilliant chase, led by Jake Fraser-McGurk’s best innings of the season. There was some great striking in it. And that all came after Renegades had two bowlers withdrawn from the attack for running on the pitch.
“There’s a pulse,” Fraser-McGurk says of the win. “Hopefully some results go our way. You can feel terrible…then you get two shots away and you are back.”
Now, all eyes head over to Perth. Our coverage is up and running here. We’ll get some sums done for you on the NRR situation for Scorchers and Strikers. Of course, Melbourne Stars can end all debate by winning tomorrow. But one thing at a time. I will wrap this one up and hand you over to Perth.
