Melbourne Stars Bring Back Pakistan Fan Zone for BBL 14

The Melbourne Stars have exciting news! They are bringing back the popular Pakistan fan zone at the famous Melbourne Cricket Ground (MCG). This special area will be ready for the upcoming Big Bash League (BBL) Season 14. Fans are in for a treat!

The Melbourne Stars have re-signed Pakistan’s talented spinner, Usama Mir. He will wear the Stars’ jersey again this season. Last year, Mir made his debut with the team, taking five wickets in five games. His impressive performances won the hearts of many fans.

The fan zone, called “Pakistan Bay,” is the perfect spot for fans to come together, have fun, and cheer on the Stars during their home games at the MCG. Fans can now sign up for memberships, which are available for the first four home games. These matches will take place on December 18, January 4, January 9, and January 19.

Cricket Australia (CA) has a Multicultural Action Plan that aims to make cricket more inclusive and fun for everyone. As part of this plan, they create special experiences for fans from different backgrounds. Earlier this year, they set up similar fan zones during Pakistan’s white-ball series in Australia. These zones were a big hit and got an amazing response from cricket fans!

The Melbourne Stars will kick off their BBL 14 journey on December 15. They will face the Perth Scorchers in the season’s opening match. The tournament will wrap up with the grand final on January 27, 2025.
