Peter Siddle Re-Signs with Stars for BBL 15
The Melbourne Stars are excited to share that experienced Victorian fast bowler Peter Siddle will stay with the team for KFC BBL 15.
Peter Siddle, who has played 91 BBL games since his debut, had an amazing first full season with the Stars. In BBL 14, the 40-year-old took 11 wickets in 8 matches, making him the club’s top wicket-taker.
“I’m thrilled to sign on for another year with the Stars,” Siddle said. “I’ve enjoyed playing in BBL 14. No matter how this season ends, I feel we’ve built a strong foundation for long-term success. I can’t wait to play more games at the MCG next season!”
Melbourne Stars General Manager Blair Crouch praised Siddle’s efforts, saying, “Peter has gone above and beyond this year. He inspires all players with how well he prepares for every game. On the field, he’s a top performer, and off the field, he’s been a fantastic mentor for our younger bowlers and a great support to our coaches and leaders.”
