Rehan Ahmed
Rehan Ahmed was born on August 13, 2004, in Nottingham. He is an English cricketer who bowls right-arm leg-spin and can also bat well. At just 18 years and 126 days old, he became the youngest boy ever to play Test cricket for England when he debuted against Pakistan on December 17, 2022. In that match, he took five wickets for just 48 runs, making him the youngest player to take a five-wicket haul in a men’s Test. He quickly moved up, playing his first ODI on March 6, 2023, and his first T20I on March 12, 2023. He became the youngest English male to play in all three formats of the game.
Rehan bowls clever leg breaks, and tricky googlies, and keeps his line and length very tight. In Tests, he has already taken 22 wickets at an average of 31.22. In ODIs, he has 10 wickets at 23.30, and in T20Is, he has picked up 12 wickets at 25.00. His first Test five-wicket haul was a turning point in the game and showed he can break important partnerships. Many call him a “natural wicket-taker.” Rehan’s father, Naeem Ahmed, moved to England from Pakistan, and Rehan brings his family’s hard work and rich culture into his game. With his skills and early success, many believe he can replace England’s senior spinners in the future.

Rishad Hossain
Rishad Hossain is a young leg-spinner from Bangladesh who will join the Adelaide Strikers for the 2025-26 BBL season. He bowls with sharp spin and loves to attack, making him a strong choice for the team’s spin bowling. Rishad has already played for Bangladesh and shown he can take wickets, especially during the middle overs of a game.
His biggest strength is breaking partnerships by using smart variations and staying calm under pressure. He does well on pitches that help spin and isn’t afraid of big hitters, which is perfect for T20 matches. With his growing skills and fearless style, Rishad is set to boost the Strikers’ bowling and help them chase the BBL title this season.
Chris Jordan
Chris Jordan is a fast bowler and useful lower-order batter from England who will play for the Hobart Hurricanes in the 2025-26 BBL season. He is well-known for his quick fielding and staying calm in tough matches. With years of T20 experience, Jordan adds strength and confidence to the Hurricanes’ team.
Jordan is very good at bowling in the final overs, using yorkers and slower balls to stop runs and get important wickets. He often changes the game with his smart bowling and sharp fielding. With his cool mind and strong skills, Chris Jordan will help the Hurricanes fight for the Big Bash League trophy this season.
